Red Twin Limited were appointed by the main contractor to assist the design of the extension to this facility. Following user concern that the piling operations may affect the function of microscopes and DNA sequencers we undertook monitoring of existing vibration levels in numerous locations throughout the building

We used a state-of-the-art cloud-based vibration monitoring system to measure and organise the data, and we undertook a scoping assessment of the building and piling operations to inform the users of the likely impact during construction.
