National College for Nuclear Bridgwater

Red Twin Limited were appointed by the main contractor to support the design and delivery of this new £9.3M facility providing acoustic engineering services relating to the building design and planning matters. We also provided ongoing support during the construction stage and acoustic testing on completion.

The National College for Nuclear Southern Hub revolutionises the delivery of higher level training for the nuclear sector. The building has specialist spaces utilising innovative technology and virtual reality simulators to replicate a nuclear working environment, whether in nuclear new build/operation/decommissioning, defence or medicine.

The building was named "Project of the Year (over £5M)" in the Michelmores Property Awards 2018, and alse Best Educational Building 2019 in the Somerset Building Control Partnership awards.
