The project involved the refurbishment of an existing building, and the construction of numerous other blocks to provide 80 No apartments, bungalows and chalets, together with a 60 bed care home.

Red Twin Limited were appointed by the main contractor Kier Construction to provide a full acoustic design service which included assisting the planning application to mitigate building services noise affecting the neighbouring properties, assisting with the design, reviewing site progress and implementation of the design, and undertaking pre-completion acoustic testing.

The residential elements were required to achieve building regulations Part E standards, which were comfortably achieved.

The development won the Health Investor Awards 2010, and the WhatHouse? Awards 2014.
